New Project Saul Bass

Watch these Saul Bass title sequences again for some inspiration in your project. You will be creating something similar in a title sequence. You will be taking the credits from one of my favorite movies, About Schmidt, and using them as the names in your project. The list of those names are at the bottom of this post. There is also a link from youtube that give examples of how to create this project because I got some requests to provide videos on how to use after effects as well as my explanations.
Your project is to create a title sequence that is reminiscent of a Saul Bass intro sequences so take note of the areas that make Saul Bass unique. Those areas are simplicity (simple graphics, simple motion and very few colors) the timing of his sequences (notice how long each name is on the screen. Make sure that you leave a name on screen long enough for the viewer to be able to read it) and interest (Saul Bass' intros set the viewer's expectations of what to expect from the following film. They are almost mini films within themselves.) You are to use your creativity, you can use as many special effects as you want to if you want to use special effects, you do not have to. You can use any fonts that you want, I recommend using only one font for the entire sequence but again, that is up to you.

So here are a few Saul Bass links (you will have to copy and paste the links):

Here is a link to the credits for About Schmidt: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0257360/fullcredits
You do not have to use all of the names on the list that will fill up a 60 second title sequence.
